Fire on the Horizon
The sun sets over the red butte that was almost just named Pollack Peak. This well known red Chugwater Formation is crowned with white gypsum and strewn with sedimentary rock. It is located at the base of the switchbacks heading West on Chief Joseph Scenic Highway just north of Cody, Wyoming. Heart mountain looms in the distance.
