The "Holy City" on the North Fork of the Shoshone National Forest appears readymade as a movie set for an ancient battle with gods and titans. It's outcroppings showcasing a millenia of erosion reminding us of the passage of time.
While painting I had the opportunity to speak with local journalist photographer Mark Davis of the Powell Tribune. We spoke about art and outdoor painting.
